Chinenyenwa (Chiboy) Nwabufoh (Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Nigeria. Late of General Motors, Castletroy).

September 18th 2025 suddenly.

Beloved fiancé of Roisin. Dearly loved father of L.J. Sadly missed by his loving parents Caroline and Felix, extended family, work colleagues and friends.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at St. Nessan’s Church, Raheen, Limerick on Thursday (9th October) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday (10th October) at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Nell Maher

Maher Nell (Ellen), Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Roscrea, formerly of Borrisbeg, Templemore. Died peacefully 6th October in her 101st year. Sadly, missed by her sister Kathleen Sheehan (Gorey, Co. Wexford), sister-in-law Margaret Maher (Coventry, UK), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, relatives and many friends, particularly the staff and residents of Mount Carmel Nursing Home.

Reposing at the Maher family home Borrisbeg, Templemore (E41 K306) on Tuesday 7th October from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore, followed by burial in the Sacred Heart cemetery, Templemore.

(née Spillane)

Elizabeth (Betty) Fleming (nee Spillane), 7 Derrynaflan Road, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Unexpectedly on October 3rd, 2025 at her home.

Will be sadly missed by her husband Seamus and her loving family, daughter Ann Marie and son Brian, son-in-law Seán, Brian's partner Fiona, grandchildren James, Eoin, Ben, Rían and Seán, her sister Bridie and brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law Johnny and David, sisters-in-law Mary and Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on this Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm to arrive in the Church of Our Lady and St. Kevin on Wednesday morning for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. 

House Private on Wednesday morning please.

Patrick (Paddy) Treacy

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his daughter Josephine, parents Timothy and Josephine, sister Nora (Shanahan). He will be deeply missed by his family, devoted wife Mary (née Power), daughters Alice (Davis) and Mary (Corcoran), sons Philip and Padraig, grandchildren Mark, Conor, Cathal, Sarah, Ciara, Caoimhe, Adam, Seán, Naoise and Devin, sons-in-law Tony and John, daughters-in-law Anne and Siobhan, brother Denis, sister Freda (Browne), nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Peg (Treacy), brothers-in-law Patsy (Browne) and Michael (Power), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday 7th October from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Wednesday 8th October at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.

(née Lonergan)

Elizabeth Hogan, (née Lonergan), Cottrellstown, Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Loughtally, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Peacefully, at Waterford University Hospital, on Monday, 6th October 2025.

Pre-deceased by her parents John and Peggy and her brother Pat.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, her heartbroken husband Eddie, her sons Edmond, John and Pat, granddaughters Amy and Kayleigh, Edmond’s partner Anita, niece Niamh, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arriving to St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny for Requiem Mass on Thursday, 9th October at 11am.

Burial will follow afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery.

Unexpectedly on 5th October at St Lukes Hospital Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Margaret (Mellison, Glengoole).

Beloved wife of John and loving mother to Joe, Michael, Brid, Patrick, Eoin, and Margaret, beloved sister of John and Mary (Ryan). Nora will be sadly missed by John, her children, grandchildren Johanna-Leni, Sadhbh, and Shay, daughters in law Lisa and Marleigh, brothers in law Michael and Seamus, sisters in law Margaret, Siobhan, and Mary, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church Borris for church prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Borris.

Eileen Concagh, née Cronin, Knockroe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Gortadrishligh, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry. Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne. Surrounded by her loving family. In the wonderful care of the Staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, sister Hannah (Concagh) and brother Michael. Deeply regretted by her family; sons Kenneth and Seamus, daughters Fionnuala (Hayes) and Aisling (O'Dwyer), grandchildren Niaobh, Daniel, Aaron, Ailís, Kate, Anna, Aaron, Emma, Aoibhe, Grace and Eimear, daughters-in-law Connie and Áine, sons-in-law Jim and John, brothers Denis, sister Bridie (O'Rourke), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
