Ploughing competition winners from Ploughing competition winners from Tipperary South were presented with their awards at the recent Ploughing 2025 awards ceremony, held in Tullamore last Sunday October 5.  

Lorcan Bergin from Tipperary South was presented with the JJ Sheedy Cup, National Ploughing Association (NPA) Trophy and Gold Medal for Intermediate Conventional at the event.

The awards were given to him by NPA chairman John Deery, Cllr Sean O’Brien (Leas Cathaoirleach of Offaly County Council) and NPA president Mick Mahon.

Kieran Bergin from Tipperary South was the second person from the region to be presented with awards at the ceremony. 

Kieran was presented with the John Cox Memorial Cup, NPA Trophy and Gold Medal for Novice two Furrow Conventional Intermediate by NPA chairman John Deery, Alan Cox and NPA president Mick Mahon.
