Tipperary venue hosts intimate evening sharing songs and the stories behind them

The Wood of O, Breege Phelan and Will McLellan

As the evenings get darker and colder, nothing warms the heart as much as a gathering of like minded/like hearted people sharing songs.
On this Friday, October 10 at 8pm, The Wood of O, Neill Bourke and Purple Roses will gather to play at the South Tipperary Arts Centre (STAC) Chapel in Kickham Barracks, Clonmel. It will be an intimate evening sharing songs and the stories behind them.
The Wood of O, Breege Phelan and Will McLellan, have been mesmerising audiences for the past seven years with their unique sound.
If you enjoy haunting, heartfelt vocals that reach into the bottom of your soul, melodic fingerstyle acoustic guitar that flows between genres, then this group is worth a listen. They have been gaining notice from Irish audiences for their unique folkish sound, channelled through the passionate and dynamic vocals of their lead singer, Breege Phelan.
It's a performance not to be missed.
All proceeds from the event will go to the South Tipperary Arts Centre.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with performances from 8pm until 9.30pm.
Tickets are €10 and are available via eventbrite or https://www.southtippartscentre.ie/events/harvest  or at the door on the night.
