Niall O'Meara, a native of Kilruane, County Tipperary, is a former inter-county hurler and current primary school teacher. Born on December 16, 1992, he began his hurling career with Kilruane MacDonaghs, progressing through the club's juvenile and underage ranks before making his senior debut.
O'Meara was part of the senior Tipperary team that secured All-Ireland titles in 2016 and 2019, with his pivotal goal in the 2019 final against Kilkenny standing out as a career highlight.
