Tipperary  TD said Fine Gael presidential candidate would fill the role with distinction

 Tipperary TD Michael Murphy has come out in support of Heather Humphreys in her campaign to be elected President of Ireland.

Deputy Murphy accompanied Heather Humphreys on a visit to Tipperary last Saturday where she canvassed on the streets of Cashel and at the grounds of Upperchurch/Drombane GAA.

Deputy Michael Murphy said it was a real pleasure to welcome Heather Humphreys to Tipperary as she continues her campaign.

“Heather is an outstanding candidate — experienced, compassionate and deeply committed to community. Her visit to Cashel and Upperchurch-Drombane GAA reflected her genuine connection with people and her understanding of rural Ireland.
I have no doubt that Heather would serve with distinction as President of Ireland,” said Deputy Murphy.
