After a long day on the campaign trail in Tipperary , Presidential candidate Catherine Connolly’s last stop was to visit Tipperary town.
A large crowd (SF / FF/ Labour party members and non-party) gathered to welcome Catherine Connolly and have the chance to speak with her. They then accompanied Catherine Connolly to Youth Work Tipperary, where Catherine spent time chatting with the young people of the town.
"I’ve been following Catherine Connolly, long before her bid to become President of Ireland. Throughout her time in the Dail, I listened to her contributions to debates ranging from housing, budget, business, neutrality, carers, mother and baby homes, women’s rights and much more. Catherine has always remained independent and true to her beliefs; advocating for an Ireland that serves all members of our society as equally as possible and in promoting a neutral, peaceful Ireland,
As an Independent Deputy, as Leas Cathaoirleach of Dail Eireann and now as a Presidential Candidate, Catherine has shown she can act as a unifying force, bringing people together for the common good.
