Screamland 2025 returns to Cashel for three days of family-friendly Halloween thrills

Cashel’s Le Chéile community group is preparing to turn up the fright factor this Halloween with a three-day family event designed to mix fun with a few carefully managed scares.

“Screamland 2025” will run from October 30 to November 1, offering what organisers describe as a safe but spine-tingling Halloween experience.

Now in its second year, the event moves to a new venue near Ladyswell, following a debut that drew almost 3,000 visitors last year.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with timed entry slots every hour between noon and 8pm across the three days.

Families can expect an atmosphere that is equal parts eerie and entertaining, all under the watchful eye of organisers intent on keeping the chills firmly in good humour.

Cllr Liam Browne said events like Screamland have a role beyond simple amusement. “Such events bring communities together and help to prevent anti-social behaviour,” he said.

Any proceeds from the event will be channelled back into Le Chéile’s future projects, including a planned Christmas market. The organisers hope that Halloween’s playful ghosts will, in the end, leave behind a very real legacy of community spirit.
