The R688 is due to reopen to the public on Friday, November 14
Locals in Clonmel could face some disruption on the roads later this month with the R688 Upper Gladstone Street set to close for essential maintenance works.
The R688 Upper Gladstone Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary from its junction with Kickham Street, to its junction with Queen Street will be temporarily closed to the public from 7am on Monday, October 27.
This is to carry facilitate the repair/replacement of water main and all associated works, including the reinstatement of carriageways, footways and verges where required.

Tipperary County Council have assured locals that residents will be granted access throughout the closure.
Traffic travelling from Kickham Park or Prior Park Road should divert via R707 Queen Street, L-3605 Bolton Street and Mary Street and R884 O’Connell Street.
The R688 is due to reopen 18 days later at 7am on Friday, November 14.
