Clonmel Town 0 – 2 Peake Villa
After meeting in the cup a week earlier, Peake Villa once again came out on top against Clonmel Town when they met in the Premier League of the Tipperary Southern and District League (TSDL).
The first half was tightly contested, with few chances, although Villa’s Jack Aylward clipped the bar with a spectacular strike from distance.

Villa stepped up their intensity after the break and were rewarded when substitute Pippy Carroll nodded a corner back across goal for Ronan McGuire to head home.

The pair combined again late on, McGuire turning provider for Carroll to seal the win ten minutes from time with the second goal.
