Roof project  proves community spirit is alive and well in a Tipperary village

Tributes have been paid to the Clerihan community for working together on a bid to provide a new roof for the Community Hall.

A big breakfast morning held in the hall was very well supported.

Cllr Richie Molloy congratulated the Clerihan Community on a very successful fundraiser for replacing the roof on the community hall.

"The atmosphere at the big breakfast was fantastic and everyone present enjoyed the interaction between neighbours and friends and most people felt such an occasion should occur on a more regular basis," said Cllr Molloy.

Cllr Molloy went on to say that Community spirt is certainly alive and well in Clerihan .
