Tipperary's largest drive thru is hosting a SPOOKTACULAR drive-in cinema this week

Jilly and Joe's Drive Thru in the Dove Hill shopping area just outside of Carrick-on-Suir are screening a number of films this week as part of their spooktacular bank holiday weekend.

As Tipperary's largest drive thru, Jilly and Joe's have become well known for their sweet treats, açai bowls, ice creams, and toasties. But this week they are looking to add a little trick to their selection of treats.

The Carrick-on-Suir business will host a drive-in cinema experience on Thursday October 23, Friday October 24, and Sunday October 26 to celebrate the mid-term break for kids and a long weekend for the parents!

On Thursday, the drive-in will be screening Hotel Transylvania followed by The Purge. On Friday they will be showing Hocus Pocus and Scary Movie. While Sunday will see the Pixar classic Monsters Inc. followed by the 18+ screening of The Conjuring.

Jilly and Joe's are encouraging everyone to dress up as something spooky for the occassion, with some of their favourite film characters on hand to take pictures with.

They have also said there will be some prizes on offer for the best dressed cinema-goers!

The drive thru are advising people to arrive 30 minutes before their movie time to get parked up and cosy and avail of any sweet treats they might want to buy on the night.

It promises to be one of the best and most unique Halloween events in Tipperary this spooky season. Tickets for the remaining screenings can be purchased here.
