There was an incredible response to the Carrick-on-Suir & District Lions Club Cake Sale on Carrick’s Main Street with €4,126 raised on the day for Childhood Cancer Ireland.
"We can’t thank everyone enough, from those who baked, donated, helped on the day, or popped by to support,” said Carrick Lions Club after the cake sale on October 17. “Your kindness and generosity made this such a special event
The cake sale’s raffle winner was Lisa Ryan.
Childhood Cancer Ireland is a charity founded by and led by parents of children with cancer. It provides comprehensive support to children, adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer as well as their families.
