Renowned TV scientist - Mark the Science Guy - to host free shows in Clonmel next week

Families across Tipperary looking for a fun, engaging and free experience will not want to miss one of the South East Science Festival’s most popular events with Mark the Science Guy who will visit Clonmel on Saturday, November 8 to perform his show.  

Mark Langtry, also known as the Science Guy, will give a series of free performances of his science themed Limitless show  at Gaelcholáiste Cheitínn, Clonmel from 11am on November 8. 

Pre-registration for the renowned television personality, educator and entertainer's show is now open open, and places are limited.

Mark is a very popular scientist and appears regularly on television.

His new show, Limitless, will appeal to families as well as the general public, according to South East Science Festival organiser Dr Sheila Donegan, who is director of CALMAST, the South East Technological University’s STEM engagement centre. 

“This is always a very popular event where participants will discover a world of limitless possibilities and embark on an exciting scientific expedition with climate scientist and broadcaster Mark Langtry aka, ‘the Science Guy’. 

"As part of this fascinating adventure, families will explore the extremes of our planet. This high energy, interactive show will kickstart you into action, help you feel powerful about your future and inspire you to make a positive impact on our world,” she promised.

This year, Science Week  celebrates its 30th anniversary with the theme Then. Today. Tomorrow.
