An informative energy saving workshop took place at the South Tipperary Development CLG premises at Comeragh View in Ballylynch, Carrick-on-Suir as part of the recent Climate Action Week.
Just Transition Development Officer Dónal Ó’Céilleahair gave a presentation to local residents and visitors attending the workshop on October 14 about the many ways to reduce energy consumption and bills. He also advised on grants and schemes for retrofitting and insulating homes.
A complimentary pack comprising radiator keys, a draft excluder and radiator heat reflector foil was given to the workshop attendees.
An Ecovision Energy Clinic will take place at the STDC in Ballylynch in early December at a date to be confirmed.
