The Light Up The Plan For Christmas are appealing for locals in Tipperary Town to help donate to the cause.

This is the sixth year of the Light Up The Plan For Christmas in Tipperary and the committee are now asking for your help. Over the years the lights and other decorations have needed a lot of tender loving care.

The group said "Unfortunately, last year some of the lights were vandalised and we had to replace them. This year we need to do some fundraising so we can get new lights and attractions to, as it were, up our game! We are hoping you will be able to help us put on our best show yet.

"Please, give what you can and remember every little helps. This year we hope you can all come along and enjoy the results of our combined efforts. A GoFundMe Page has been set up and you can donate on this link."
