National Hunt jockey and Tipperary native Rachael Blackmore has been recognised by Griffith College for her achievements in Irish sport.

The Tipperary native received the institution’s Professional Excellence Award in acknowledgement of her outstanding contribution to Irish sport.
Blackmore, who has become one of the most successful figures in horse racing, was among those celebrated at the college’s graduation ceremonies this week.
Griffith College praised her dedication and impact on the sport, describing her as a role model for aspiring athletes across Ireland.
