Speaking at the launch, he said that he found his engagement with this project to be a very enriching experience which adds considerably to an understanding of social history of the period.

Jimmy visited five Daycare Centres to gather the stories for the project. He also extended his thanks to the Daycare managers, staff and clients from Fethard, Clogheen, Cahir, Carrick On Suir and Borrosokane.

Older members of communities in Tipperary related stories of their lives down the years, which were compiled in this book.
