Cashel Rugby Club welcomed a number of distinguished guests on November 10, including Minister Patrick O’Donovan, Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Roger Kennedy, Cathaoirleach of the Cashel/Tipperary/Cahir Municipal District, Michael Murphy, Senator Garret Ahearn, Cllr Declan Burgees, and Cllr John Crosse.

Pat Donoghue, President of Cashel Rugby Club, spoke of the club’s gratitude for the support received under the 2020 Sports Capital Programme and the role of local representatives in making the projects possible.
He highlighted two recent improvements to the club’s facilities: the construction of a new gym and the installation of a clubhouse elevator. Donoghue added that Cashel Rugby Club looks forward to continuing the development of its facilities, aiming to provide a welcoming and modern environment.
He said these improvements reflect the club’s dedication to promoting sport and community engagement in the area. The event brought together leaders, members, and supporters to celebrate the club’s progress.
