The action was carried out by the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit after Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) alerts identified multiple motorists driving without valid insurance.

According to Gardaí, one of the drivers stopped did not hold a driving licence, while another was found to be driving on a cancelled insurance policy. All three vehicles were subsequently seized at the roadside.

The motorists involved are now expected to face proceedings before the courts.
