Carrick-on-Suir Business Association is encouraging Carrick-on-Suir people and employers to gift a Carrick-on-Suir Voucher to loved ones and employees this Christmas.
The Association says more than 50 businesses in the town are now accepting Carrick-on-Suir Vouchers and is urging the public to support the town’s retailers and businesses by shopping local this festive season.
“These vouchers remain an ideal Christmas gift and a powerful way to support local jobs. As (Small Firms Association Chairwoman) Geraldine Magnier said at COSBA’s Autumn Networking Evening: 'Each euro spent with a town-based business typically circulates four or five times before it leaves the community, meaning a €20 spend generates €100 in local value'.
