More Gardaí will be on the beat in Tipperary Town over the Christmas
A commitment to have more gardaí on the streets of Tipperary TipperaryTown over Christmas has been welcomed.
The move has been welcomed by Cllr Annemarie Ryan .

" Councillors had a meeting with An Garda Síochána Tipperary, where I asked the Chief Superintendent to provide extra patrols in Tipperary town for the Christmas period.
Superintendent Eddie Golden informed me that we will have additional beat and mountain bike patrols throughout Tipp Town from now until Christmas.

According to An Garda Síochána Tipperary, the operation has now commenced and will run up to Christmas Eve, with patrols throughout the day and also at night when extra night time activity is expected," said Cllr Annemarie Ryan.
