The Clonmel Rugby Club Male Voice Choir will sing at the Champions Cup fixture between Munster and Gloucester at Páirc Uí Chaoimh this Saturday evening
Clonmel Rugby Club Male Voice Choir was formed by former captain and player John Kelly during the 2015-16 season.
John used the same attitude that characterised his playing career....no stepping back, full steam ahead.
The choir was formed of former players, current players at the time , which it still is, but now had grown to incorporate friends and family members of Clonmel RFC, which has since 2019 achieved Senior status, playing in the All-Ireland Senior League Division 2C.

Keith Greene was the choir’s first Musical Director, followed by Joe Sheehan, who is a current Youth Development Officer with Munster Rugby.
The current Musical Director is Suzanne Buttimer, who is also leader and founder of the famed Rockwell Musical Academy.
Her husband Fergal is Director of Rugby at Clonmel RFC and their son Henry is captain of the senior squad.

The choir has grown and continues to impress with its Christmas concerts, pitchside singing of the club anthem, the famed ‘Slievenamon’, charitable fundraising and club support.
The choir feels very honoured and considers it a great privilege to be invited by the Munster Rugby Branch to sing at the Champions Cup fixture between Munster and Gloucester this Saturday, December 13, in Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 5.30pm.
Best wishes are extended to Munster.
Forti et fideli nihil difficile....to the brave and faithful nothing is impossible.
