Everybody enjoyed the Christmas Fair at the CTI in Clonmel
A Clonmel woman who established a Christmas arts and craft market in Clonmel three years ago in an effort to keep people in the town is delighted with the positive response to the annual event.
Now in its third year, the market was held recently in CTI, Clonmel with over 20 stalls of craftspeople selling their produce during a two-day market.

Megan Channon, who operates Kiln Fields Ceramics outside Clonmel, set up the market with her friend from Cork, Sal Brennan.
“Sal makes her own jewellery, and we both met at markets all over the country. We were doing a lot of travelling to markets, and I felt it would be nice to establish a market in Clonmel to save us travelling off to other places, and also I wanted people to stay shopping in Clonmel rather than go to other locations,” said Megan.
Alison Cronin Dance Studio, Bellvue Academy, and Clonmel Community Choir provided entertainment over the two days.

“This is our third year and it was a great success again this year and was very well supported by the people of Clonmel and the surrounding area.
“This year we chose Cuan Saor women’s refuge as our local charity to fund raise for,” said Megan.
