David O'Doherty brings musical comedy show 'Highway to the David Zone' to Tipperary soon

The Source Arts Centre in Thurles will host Irish comedian and musician David O'Doherty for a performance of his latest show, Highway to the David Zone, on Saturday, January 31, at 8 p.m.

Tickets are priced at €30, including fees. The show promises a mix of stand-up, musical interludes, and audience interaction.

O'Doherty has built a reputation for his distinctive style, which combines witty observations, humorous anecdotes, and original songs performed on his keyboard. 

Audiences can expect a performance that blends storytelling and music with moments of spontaneous humour. 

The Irish Times has described his shows as "an unexpected, cathartic set that leaves the audience in tears of laughter."

Born in Dublin, O'Doherty first gained widespread recognition when he won the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008. 

He has since toured internationally and appeared on numerous television shows, including Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI, and Live At The Apollo. He is also the host of the What Did You Do Yesterday? podcast and the author of several books.

Known for his quirky and endearing stage presence, O'Doherty has become a fixture on the comedy circuit, appealing to audiences of all ages with his ability to find humour in everyday life.
