People in Roscrea are being encouraged to have their say on the future of Castle Street and Church Street at a community drop-in event taking place later this month.
The Revitalising Castle Street Roscrea initiative will host a public consultation on Thursday, 22 January 2026, from 4pm to 7:30pm at Black Mills, Church St, Townparks, Roscrea, Co Tipperary.
Organisers say the event follows feedback gathered during an initial online community survey and will give residents an opportunity to view proposed strategies and options aimed at creating a more vibrant and people-friendly town centre.
Those attending will be able to see the emerging plans, speak directly with the project team, and share their own ideas and concerns about how Castle Street and Church Street could be improved for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
The drop-in session is designed to be informal and accessible, with no need to attend for the full duration. It is also described as family-friendly, with all members of the community welcome to take part.

The Castle Street revitalisation project is supported by a range of local and national partners, including Tipperary County Council and Fáilte Ireland, and forms part of wider efforts to enhance the social and economic life of Roscrea.
