Enjoyable day out as Tipperary community comes out in force to raise funds for cancer care

The St Stephen's Day run in Dundrum was enjoyed by all

The organisers of a St Stephen's Day run in Dundrum have thanked everybody who took part and the people who supported the event.

The event was held to raise funds for South Tipperary Hospice.

"A huge thank you to everyone who turned up to support a great cause. Perfect weather conditions to run off the Christmas turkey.

Congratulations to Aisling Harrington, 1st woman home 5km. Tom Nihill, first man home, 5km. Willie Keane, 1st man 10km, followed closely by Shane Bargary and Catherine Burke,1st woman home 10km.

Donations are still coming in, we will update you with the final total raised for South Tipperary Hospice Movement in the coming days. Thanks to Cronins Centra Dundrum for their donation of bottled water on the day, to the Red Cross Ambulance Services, Sgt Brian Slattery and all the volunteers. Thanks to everyone who participated and donated from, The Breen Family," said the organisers.
