Cahir Tidy Town group has hit out at the increasing level of graffiti appearing in the town

 Cahir Tidy Towns group has voiced concern about the increasing levels of graffiti appearing in the area.

The group has appealed to parents to help them battle graffiti in thier bid to keep Cahir tidy throughout 2026.

" We are seeing an increase in graffiti and we hope that parents can help out with this issue and ask questions if they find aerosol paint cans with any of their children. We will need to get on top of this, as in some cases the graffiti is vulgar and names have been sprayed in public places.

However, we will continue to do what we can to keep Cahir tidy for 2026 and we thank the public for their support in 2025 both financially and voluntarily," said a member of the group.
