According to Gardaí, the closure is temporary and in place to allow for the removal of a vehicle following a road traffic collision.

The closure was first highlighted on the Facebook group Tipp Town, where residents noted the presence of emergency vehicles and stated that there seems to be an accident.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes while authorities manage the situation. Details on the cause of the incident and whether there are any injuries have not yet been released.

More information will follow as it becomes available.
