Providing an update on outstanding works in the Cashel area, Cllr Burgess said contractors are expected on site next week in several locations.
In Ballagh, he confirmed that he has spoken directly with the engineer overseeing the project and that works are scheduled to commence shortly.
Similar progress is expected in Dundrum, where contractors are due next week to resolve lighting problems in the village.
In Cashel town, attention has turned to Oliver Plunket Park, where contractors were on site this week installing a new connection for a public light that has been out of service for an extended period. Groundworks at the location are nearing completion.
Issues at the Rock of Cashel car park are also set to be addressed, with a contractor due next week to deal with the loss of public lighting in the area.
Cllr Burgess said he remains focused on ensuring the outstanding works are delivered without further delay. “I’ll continue to monitor these outages closely. I’m very conscious of the delays and will keep the pressure on to ensure works are completed as quickly as possible.”
