Works to deliver a new library for Cahir are advancing, according to an update from Tipperary County Council.
Construction activity at the former Craft Granary building, which is being redeveloped to house the new Cahir Library, is ongoing, with Mulcahy Construction leading the project on site.
Demolition works have now been completed in full. The focus has shifted to the installation of new stud walls and insulation, alongside progressing mechanical and electrical works within the building.
Images released as part of the update show lime mortar repointing and restoration works taking place on the façade.
A photomontage outlining the proposed ground floor layout for the new Cahir Library has also been provided, offering a glimpse of the planned internal arrangement once works are complete.
