Irish charity appeals for volunteers to assist in fundraising day in Tipperary

In Thurles town, the Irish Cancer Society is going all out this Daffodil Day, which takes place on Friday, March 20, in raising funds to support cancer patients across Ireland.

They are looking for as many volunteers on the day to help out for two hours by sitting at various stations in shopping centres around the town.

You can show your support by giving what you can on the day.

You will be helping to fund the Irish Cancer Society's support line, free counseling, lifts to treatment, ground-breaking cancer research, funding to families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis and so much more.

Together, they hope to ensure that no one has to go through cancer alone.
