Dylan Slevin from Borrisokane is set to step into the spotlight at next week's Modus Super Series darts competition.
After narrowly missing out on reclaiming his Professional Darts Corporation tour card earlier this year, Slevin has battled through the PDC Challenge Tour and now earns his shot in the Super Series.
The Super Series is for darts players without a PDC tour card, which has Group A kicking off the action on Monday, running through Wednesday, as six contenders clash three times daily in a bid to claim the top spot and a coveted place in the Saturday night finals.

The players finishing second and third in Group A move into Group B, while the remaining competitors join Group C. Both groups battle it out on Thursday and Friday, with matches unfolding in the afternoons and evenings.
Slevin finds himself in Group A this week, a group that appears straightforward at first glance. However, the Tipperary native could go head-to-head with former PDC World Darts Championship finalist Andy Hamilton or the trailblazing Fallon Sherrock, famously known as the Queen of the Palace and the first woman to win a World Championship darts match.
The action starts on Monday morning at 9.
