Garda College Templemore celebrated a remarkable achievement after Instructor Kenny McDonald claimed double gold at the World Indoor Rowing Championships.

McDonald delivered a standout performance, smashing the world record on his way to victory in the one-minute event before securing a second gold in the 1000m final.

An instructor in the Crime and Specialist Training Section, his success has been met with huge pride at the College, marking a memorable moment both personally and professionally. The college took to social media to congratulate McDonald on his achievement.
