A Tipperary man who has dedicated a great deal of time to his local pitch and putt club has been celebrated at an awards ceremony in Dublin.
Sean Minogue of Riverdale Pitch & Putt was recently named the Tipperary recipient of the 2025 Volunteers in Sport Awards by the Federation of Irish Sport.
The prestigious awards celebrate the outstanding contribution of volunteers across the country who dedicate their time and energy to the development of sport within their communities.

Sean’s recognition is a testament to his longstanding commitment and invaluable service to pitch and putt in Riverdale and beyond.
The awards ceremony brought together recipients from across Ireland, highlighting the vital role volunteers play at every level of sport.
Tipperary Sports Partnership were delighted to support the event alongside the National Network of Local Sports Partnerships, acknowledging the impact volunteers like Sean have on local clubs and communities.
