Parade Chairperson Sean Laffey thanks the local businesses that have pledged support for this year’s event. The committee warmly invites local groups and organisations to join the parade. To get involved, simply email cashelstpatricksdayparade@gmail.com. Festivities kick off in the Plaza with lively music and entertainment from 2pm on March 14th. The parade sets off at 4.30pm, winding through Cashel via Boherclough and up Main Street to Friar Street. By choosing this date and route, the committee hopes to welcome even more visitors to Cashel’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations, despite requests to return to the traditional March 17th parade from the Rock of Cashel.
