The consultation showed strong support for this exciting development, and the Board of Management carefully considered this feedback in reaching its decision. The engagement throughout the process reflects the community’s deep commitment to the school’s future.
St Anne’s is proud of its tradition as a small, caring school community, providing a faith-based Catholic education where every student is known and supported. Moving to co-education presents a wonderful opportunity to build on these strengths while continuing to nurture the welcoming, inclusive spirit that defines the school.
The Trustees have submitted a change of status request to the Department of Education and Youth. Pending approval, St Anne’s plans to begin admitting both girls and boys from September 2027,” said the statement.
