Members of Boherlahan Dualla GAA Club came out to commemorate the 130 year old milestone.
Boherlahan Dualla GAA Club Chairman Tony Lacey, secretary of the club, and great great grandson of John Connolly, Charlie Martin, laying a wreath at the monument of the great Tubberadora team of that era.
A GAA club in Tipperary recently commemorated 130 years since the First All Ireland Final was played in Croke Park.
Tubberadora, a Tipperary club from the Boherlahan/Dualla area of Tipperary, famously represented Tipperary in the 1895 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final, played on March 15, 1896, at Jones' Road (now Croke Park).
The team won the hurling match played against Kilkenny, which was the first ever All Ireland won in Croke Park.
