The six larger events are: Cashel Arts Festival, allocated €5,100; Ballyporeen Music Maker Festival, €7,500; Queen of the Castle Festival, Cahir, €12,000; Tipperary Together summer festival in Tipperary town, €7,000; Tipperary Music Festival, €5,500; and Tipperary Town Halloween Event, €5,000.
Each smaller event will receive a grant between €500 and €2,000, ensuring every recipient gets a meaningful boost.
Councillors approved €74,470 for Burial Ground Committees. Seventy-one committees in the District will receive grants from €860 up to €2,920 for Clonoulty old and new burial grounds.
Excitement is mounting as the fate of Tidy Towns Groups' grants will be revealed at the April meeting.
