The death has occurred of James ‘Jimmy’ Kiely, of Cashel Road, Tipperary Town.
Jimmy passed away on Sunday, March 29.

He is predeceased by his mother Bridget, sister Debbie, his beloved grandson Griffin,and his uncles Henry and Michael.
He is sadly missed by his adored children Mary, Philip, Priscilla, Jonathan, Fionnula, Timmy and Samuel and their mother Caroline, grandchildren Sophie, Katie, Luke, Matthew, Charlotte, Amelia, Mya and Sebastian, brother David, sisters Angela, Sandra and Maria, uncle Joe, sons-in-law Tommy and Stephen, daughters-in-law Suzie and Tara, brothers-in-law John and Liam, nephews, nieces, extended family in the UK, neighbours and many close friends.
May he rest in peace.
Jimmy will lay in repose at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary on Thursday evening, April 2, from 5:30pm to 7pm.
Funeral prayers for Jimmy will take place in St Michael's Church, Tipperary on Friday, April 3, at 11am, with burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Tipperary Town.

Tributes have been paid to Jimmy online, with one person saying: “Condolences to all the Kiely family, neighbours and friends of jimmy, a hard working man in the coal business, may he rest in peace.”
Another said: “May your gentle soul rest in eternal peace Jimmy. One of life's true gentlemen. Condolences to Mary Tommy Sophie Katie and all the Kiely family. Ye were so lucky to have such a loving daddy and grandad.”
