Tipperary business to feature on series finale of popular Irish show

Virgin Media Television brings its new series ‘Cleaning Up Ireland’ to a close this Sunday with the final instalment of the eight‑part docuseries.

In this week’s episode, it’s Saturday night in Dublin and disco fever is hitting the 3Arena.

The crew from Ryans Cleaning Thurles are standing by with their mops, buckets and 90s spirit as thousands of partygoers dance the night away.

Their mission is to catch every spill before it hits the dance floor.

With crowds moving, drinks flying and a tight turnaround between acts, the team works quickly to keep the venue spotless and safe for everyone inside.

Ryans Cleaning is one of Tipperary and Ireland’s biggest business success stories.

The Thurles company, founded by Pat and Philomena Ryan, celebrated 40 years in business last year and is now in the hands of their daughter, Aisling Ryan.

Previous features in the series, included behind the scenes with Ryans Cleaning at Croke Park on All-Ireland Final Day and at The Galway Races.

All previous episodes are available on Virgin Media PLAY.

Also in this week’s episode, from disco nights with Ryans Cleaning to ring lights, viewers return to ‘cleanfluencer’ Brandon Stone’s squeaky‑clean haven in Dublin.

Viewers will also meet Barry from Leinster Hygiene Services who specialises in cleaning bins rather than emptying them.

From arena spills to influencer thrills and the unsung heroes of hygiene who take on the jobs few would ever volunteer for, the finale of ‘Cleaning Up Ireland’ shines a light on the hardworking teams who keep Ireland clean.

The series finale of Cleaning Up Ireland airs this Sunday April 12 at 8:30pm on Virgin Media PLAY and Virgin Media One.
