Victories for Carrick Swan teams as playing season ramps up

Carrick Swan GAA Club’s Minor hurlers defeated Ballybacon 3-15 to 0-15.

In the County Hurling League, the Swan team narrowly defeated St Mary's by a point. The final score was Swan 1-15, St Mary's 3-8.

Juvenile teams

The Under 12 footballers recorded their second win of the championship with a strong performance against Ballingarry.
Attention now turns to the hurling championship. The team's first game takes place away to Cahir on Tuesday.

The Under 14 footballers were defeated in their latest outing against Ballylooby. They will be back in action on Thursday with an away fixture against Cahir.

Meanwhile, the hurlers play Gortnahoe at 4pm this Saturday, April 18 in Division One of the County League in Páirc na nEalaí.

Camogie

The Junior B camogie team play Clonoulty on Sunday, April 19t at 10am on The Green in Carrick.

Sympathy

The club extends condolences to the Walsh family of Carrick Beg and O’Shea family of Piltown on the death of their loved ones.
