Tipperary player takes home €500,000 in major EuroMillions win

EuroMillions players in Tipperary, Cavan and Meath are set to be celebrating this morning following three significant wins in last night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.

The biggest win of the night went to a player in Co Tipperary, who scooped the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000, after matching all 5 numbers. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased, on the day of the draw at The Cabin, 66 Main Street, Carrick on Suir, Co Tipperary.

The winning numbers in Tuesday, 14th April, EuroMillions Plus draw were: 05, 15, 16, 17, 18.

Meanwhile, there were two notable wins in the main EuroMillions draws. A player in Co. Cavan won an impressive €344,056 after matching five numbers and one Lucky Star. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Monday, 13th April, from Daybreak, Bridge Street, Cootehill, Co Cavan.

The second win went to a player in Co. Meath, who matched 5 numbers to win €80,412. The Quick Pick ticket was bought on the day of the draw from Gillen’s Londis, Dublin Road, Trim, Co Meath.

The winning numbers in Tuesday, 14th April’s main EuroMillions draw were: 01, 02, 04, 28, 44 and Lucky Stars 05 and 12.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer said:

“It was a brilliant night for players all over Ireland, with three big EuroMillions wins recorded in Tipperary, Cavan, and Meath. In total, over 47,000 players won prizes nationwide across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws. As there was no winner of the €116,712,657 jackpot on offer, Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €130 million.”

Our latest big winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. The winners are advised to contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prizes.

Meanwhile, tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €6.8 million. Players dreaming of winning big are reminded that tickets can be purchased nationwide in-store, through the National Lottery app or online at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this evening.
