Carrick GAA club teams limber up for two County League matches next weekend

Carrick Swan GAA Club's Division 1 County League side defeated Gortnahoe 0-17 to 1-13 last Saturday. It was a great result and performance from the team.

They next face Loughmore Castleiney away on Sunday, April 26 at 12pm.

The Division 5 County League fixture is set for Sunday, April 26 in Bansha against Galtee Rovers at 3pm.

The Minor footballers played Ballyporeen last week but were unfortunately beaten.

Minor hurlers will play Ballingarry on Thursday, April 23 at 7pm in Mullinahone.

Juvenile Teams

The Under 12 A hurling team defeated Cahir 4-05 to 2-00.

Fixtures

Monday 20: Under 14B Football vs Cahir at 7pm in Duneske

Tuesday 21: Under 12A Hurling vs Ballybacon Grange at 7pm on the Green

Sunday 26: Under 17 County Hurling League Division 1 vs Newport at 10:30am in Páirc na nEalaí

Camogie

The Under 10 camogie girls hosted a very successful blitz in Páirc na nEalaí, welcoming several teams. Meanwhile, the Under 8 camogie team travelled to Mullinahone to take part in a blitz.

Sympathy

The club extends sincere condolences to the Lonergan and O’Neill families of Carrick-on-Suir, the Power family of Pill Road, the Power family of St. Molleran’s and family members in England.
