Ursuline
Many thanks to the students of the Ursuline Charities Committee who worked very hard in the early part of last week to organise the annual Team Hope Christmas Shoe Box collection.
The school community collected over 130 shoe boxes for young children in developing countries who otherwise would have no chance of receiving a Christmas gift.
The boxes contained essential items for washing, writing and small clothing items like socks, hats, scarves or gloves.
Each box also included a small toy for the child to play with.
The Committee members volunteered lunch and break times sorting through the boxes and helped to load the Team Hope van on Wednesday when it arrived at the school.
It was a job well done for a very worthy cause.

Huge thank you to our students in Naomh Peadar and in Dúnchaoin, who organised a collection of shoeboxes for the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
There was a great response, with over 70 shoeboxes assembled, packaged and collected.
Well done to all and to Ms Edel Harding for co-ordinating this very worthwhile cause.
