South Tipperary GAA club celebrates 50 years on Saturday - and two proud Laochra Gael awards

Michael O’Connor, Scart, Clogheen, will be awarded with the Laochra Gael award at the Dome in Semple Stadium Thurles next Sunday, November 27.

Laochra Gael Awards
A big congratulations to Michael O’Connor, Scart, Clogheen, and Billy McCarthy, Clogheen and Clonmel, who will be awarded with the Laochra Gael award at the Dome in Semple Stadium Thurles next Sunday, November 27.
These awards recognise the lifetime of involvement in their local Fr Sheehy’s GAA Club.
Well done to you both.

Clogheen Drama Group
Readings for the 2023 production will take place on Tuesday, November 29 in St Paul’s at 7.30pm. All are welcome to come along on the night.

St Paul’s Christmas Market
St Paul’s Community Centre will hold a Christmas Market in the hall on November 27. Doors open at 3pm. Free admission.
Over 20 stalls will be there to purchase from. All are welcome.

Flower Arrangement in St Paul’s
On Saturday, December 10 in St Paul’s, Jean Slattery O’Gorman will show us her skill in making lovely flower arrangements and centre pieces, etc.

Fr Sheehy's GAA Club
Our 50th celebration social takes place on Saturday in Kilcoran Lodge Hotel starting at 7.30 pm. Music is by Mike Humphries band. There will be presentations and a free raffle for spot prizes.
Dress code is formal.

One of our own - Billy McCarthy, Clogheen and Clonmel, who will be awarded with the Laochra Gael award at the Dome in Semple Stadium Thurles next Sunday, November 27.

Fr Sheehy's GAA Lotto
Lotto numbers this week are 1, 25, 27, 28.
We had no jackpot winner and no match 3’s.
Five lucky dips receive €30each.
Margaret Condon Cahir, Eileen Spens Clogheen, Seamus O’Brien Ballyporeen, Eileen Eivers Ardfinnan, Roeseline Morrissey Clogheen.
Next week's jackpot will be €6,250 in Butlers Bar Burncourt.

Annual Community Party in Clogheen
On Sunday, December 4, our annual community party will take place in St Paul’s Community Hall with doors open at 1.30pm. The wonderful Mike Humphries band will play on the day. All are welcome to attend.
