Tipperary ladies footballers have big advantage as 2023 league fixtures are revealed

Peter Creedon has been handed a favourable league schedule for his Tipperary senior ladies footballers as they will play six of their seven Division 2 group games at home in 2023.

Tipperary play in the group of eight, with the top two teams playing in the final in Croke Park, with the campaign starting on January 22nd at home to Westmeath.

Further home games against Cavan, Roscommon and Laois are followed by an away trip to Monaghan before two final home games against Tyrone and Armagh.

Creedon will no doubt be boosted by the return of star player Aishling Moloney, who returned to club action in the past few months with her club Cahir, and she will have had a full preseason under her belt.

• Round 1: Tipperary vs Westmeath – January 22nd 2023
• Round 2: Tipperary vs Cavan – January 29th 2023
• Round 3: Tipperary vs Roscommon – February 5th 2023
• Round 4: Tipperary vs Laois – February 19th 2023
• Round 5: Monaghan vs Tipperary – February 26th 2023
• Round 6: Tipperary  vs Tyrone – March 19th 2023
• Round 7: Tipperary  vs Armagh – March 26th 2023
