The launch of the Coiste na nOg County Under 17 Football Championships semi-finals took place in Youngs The Ragg.
Chairman Tommy Landers welcomed the participating clubs and their captains.
Conor O'Dwyer of the Football Board spoke about the Under 17 football competition, which has been most successful.
He said it was great to be still playing games in December.
The following clubs and their representatives were in attendance;
Carrick Swan, captain, Cameron Harrison; Clonmel Commercials, captain, Darragh O'Connor; Moyle Rovers, captain, Jake Forristal; Galtee Rovers, captains, Joe O'Callaghan and Eoghan Byrnes; JK Brackens, captains Ned Delaney and Jamie Bergin; Cashel King Cormacs, Andrew Irvin; Moyne/Templetuohy, captain, Diarmuid Campion; Sean Treacys/Eire Og Annacarty Donohill, captains Darragh Carr and Adam Mulcahy.
The county semi-finals are down for decision this weekend - on Saturday, Clonmel Commercials play Cashel King Cormacs in the A semi-final at 2.30 in Bansha, while in the other A semi-final Moyle Rovers face Galtee Rovers at 2pm in Cashel.
The Under 17 B semi-final between Eire Og Annacarty/Donohill/Sean Treacys and Silvermines will be played in Castleiney at 1pm, also on Saturday, while on Sunday Carrick Swan meet Moyne/Templetuohy in New Inn at 2pm in the other B semi-final.
