Tipperary legend to be inducted into Hall of Fame in ceremony this weekend

Hurling legend Nicky English is to be inducted into Munster GAA’s hurling Hall of Fame in an award ceremony taking place in Clonmel this weekend.

The former All-Ireland winning Tipperary player and manager and six time All Star is to be honoured along with two other Tipp men in the form of Martin Spain who is receiving the Handballer of the Year accolade.

ALso, outgoing County Secretary Tim Floyd of Newport is being honoured with the Distinguished Service Award from Munster GAA this weekend, which will recognise his lifetime of service to the GAA.
