IN PICTURES: There was a great buzz at the CBS Student Enterprise Christmas Trade Fair
On Wednesday morning, we had our Annual Trade Fair in the school. Sixty-one mini-businesses displayed their products and their entrepreneurial skills.
Items that were available ranged from self-produced woodwork pieces, bakery, sweets, sportswear, Christmas decorations and logs, raffles and games, milkshakes, homemade candles and sportswear.
There was a great buzz around the PE hall as parents and grandparents, siblings, TY students from the Presentation and Ursuline, CBS students and the general public called in and sampled and bought Christmas presents and treats.
The event doubled up as the school qualifier for the Student Enterprise Awards. A+F from 1st year.
Premier Woodworking from second-year and Oak and Vine from TY all qualified to go forward to the County final stage in March.
The Parents Council also had a stand with teas/coffees and baked goods. They had a fabulous raffle with some amazing hampers. The students involved would like to thank the parent’s council and the visitors on the day for their great support.
Well done to all our enterprising young men who showed so many different business and presentation skills that they have learned and mastered in school. We look forward to welcoming even more visitors to next year’s event.
