The Friary Church in Clonmel, which will close for good on January 6, is preparing to host its last Christmas ceremonies

The Friary

Masses - Christmas Eve at 10am and 9pm (Vigil Mass)

Christmas Day 8am and 11.30am

Confessions - Wednesday, December 21 - Christmas Eve

12 noon - 1pm and 3-5pm

St Mary’s Irishtown

Christmas Eve - 7.45am Mass; 10am Mass; 5.30pm Children’s Mass; 7.30pm Carols; 8pm Mass

Christmas Day - 10.30am Blessing of the Toys Mass; 12 noon Mass.

There will be no Masses on St Stephen’s Day

Ss Peter and Paul’s and Church of the Resurrection

Christmas Eve - Confessions: Ss Peter and Paul’s - 12 noon to 1pm

Christmas Eve Masses -
Daily Mass 1pm; Church of the Resurrection at 7pm (carols beforehand); Ss Peter and Paul’s Church at 9pm (including live pageant); St Mary’s: Polish Mass at Midnight

Christmas Day Masses - Church of the Resurrection – 10am; Ss Peter and Paul’s Church – 9.30am, 11am (with choir) and 12.30pm (Banna Chluain Meala will participate at 12.30pm Mass)

St Stephen’s Day to Friday December 30 - Church of the Resurrection - 9.30am Ss Peter and Paul’s Church- 1pm

New Year’s Eve - Ss Peter and Paul’s Church- 1pm and 7.30pm - Vigil Mass

New Year’s Day - Church of the Resurrection – 10am; Ss Peter and Paul’s Church – 9.30am, 11am and 12.30pm

Monday January 2 to Thursday January 5 - Church of the Resurrection - 9.30am; Ss Peter and Paul’s Church - 1pm

Feast of the Epiphany, Friday, January 6 - Church of the Resurrection: 9.30am; Ss Peter and Paul’s: 1pm and 6.15pm

Christmas Eve 9pm - St Paul’s Cahir. Holy Communion. Service taken by The Very Revd James Mulhall, Dean of Cashel and Diocesan Reader Janet Morgan.

Christmas Day 9.30am- Holy Trinity Church of Ireland Fethard. Holy Communion. Service taken by Archdeacon John Murray.

Christmas Day 11am - Old St Mary’s Clonmel. Holy Communion. Service taken by Archdeacon John Murray.

St Oliver’s

Christmas Eve - 11.30 am Mass; 6 -7pm Confessions (Day Chapel); 7.15 Carol singing; 7.30pm First Mass of Christmas

Christmas Day - Masses at 9am and 12 noon

St Stephen’s Day - Friday, December 30 - Mass at 10am

New Year’s Eve - Masses at 11.30am and 7.30pm

New Year’s Day - Masses at 9am and 12 noon
